To give you a flavor of the things I do:

• Create a full data-pipeline from sensor, data science to answer for monitoring and improving household central heating systems. Deploy in multiple residential houses (2022).
• Define and select - in close co-operation with many stakeholders - the next-generation industrial communications technology supporting both real-time as well as non-real-time communication constraints for large scale systems (2021).
• Create a retrofit package for monitoring an industrial goods lift in order to increase its reliability (2021).
• Investigate and demonstrate the potential of secure-by-design embedded controllers in an industrial setting (2020).
• Develop a measurement system for specific failure mechanisms for high-capacity sortation systems in materials handling domain (2020).
• Implement a monitoring system for common failure modes of a typical belt conveyor on a live system (2020).
• Define battery size and charging strategy for automated guided vehicles in an airports environment (2018).
• Develop safety design for high-capacity automated guided vehicle system in a mixed-traffic industrial environment (2018).
• Improve the way technical documentation for diagnostics is made and reviewed (2013).
• Design my house in a future-proof way such that it uses the least amount of electricity, gas an water (2010).
• Design and build a demonstrator of a fully automated item picking workstation that fits nicely in warehouse design (2010).
